Asana Clinic: inversions

Your deep-dive into yoga asanas.

A chance for us to breakdown postures out of a sequence, play and explore a little deeper.

This will be a monthly/bi-monthly session, focusing on a few different postures, transitions or groups of asanas each month.

This months session we’re going to play with inversions… Some of my favourite asanas are the ones that let us be upside down! There’s something very therapeutic about playing with gravity and seeing the world upside - plus, you’ll never notice your body more than when you try to turn it upside down!

We’ll stretch, strengthen then play with downdog (adho mukha svanasana), headstand (sirsasana) and some variations, crow (bakasana) and some variations, and handstand hops/handstands (adho mukha vrksasana).
